try locking/unlocking with the key fob a coupla times.

try starting N if automatic.

try 'popping' the clutch and brake pedals. (press and release quickly)

if headlights etc. don't work - fuse or fusible link bad?

more details on the car and the exact problem and sequence of events would help - did the failure occur before or after the new battery was installed....

Hi.. Thx for reply..

Been reading on the forums, seems more like the Slow-Blow fuse # 2 or the link. dunno yet.

Nothing works, wont start. Got into car found small interior light was left ON. Ran battery down that was only 3 months old. Tried jump start--nothing.

Went and got new battery--put in--no change. (Again tried jump start) nothing..no electrics at all. Charged new battery overnight to be sure--still nothing after re-install of battery. Wont start, no lights at all on panel. No start. Only electric is door chime working--that's it. This car was working fine last week.

Thx for any suggestions.

Bajababe.

The trouble you are having is most likely located in the power distribution/fuse panel under the hood. I think fuse SBF-4 is the fuse that ties power to the ignition switch. Make sure all the fuses in the panel are getting power to them and no fuses are blown. Also make sure the nuts for the main fuse are snug tight.
