bushbasher
how do you plan to recreate the wood grain? I can't wait to see the finished result!
TheSubaruJunkie
how about that camo tape we saw on the board a while back?? Maybe they make a woodgrain pattern??? Or maybe they can custom make a woodgrain pattern? -Brian
cricket
I've found a couple of sources that sell rolls of wood applique of different heights and lengths. J.C. Whitney is one source. On the paint job, I've gotten mixed responses from shops around my place. One guy laughed and said he doesn't do "finish" jobs, only collision work. What? Another guy offered to paint it for around $400, the next guy gave me an estimate of around $800. This is way too much money! I might end up at Earl Scheib or Maaco. Anyone here ever rent the equipment and paint your car in the garage?
