Tacoman
****************ACCIDENTAL DOUBLE POST-IF YOU ARE A FORUM MODERATOR FEEL FREE TO DELETE********************************** I am the proud owner of a 2017 Impreza with a 5 speed Manual Transmission. I love the car and its an amazing value for the money. I had to wait a couple of months for the 5 speed but I like it a lot better than the CVT. The one thing that is driving me nuts is the hill holder feature. It is way too aggressive on the brakes. It also goes engages on very slight hills where you really don't need it. Is it possible to dial it back from 11 to about 5 or 6? If not is it possible to completely disable it? If no one knows how on this message board, I will talk to Subaru on the first (and probably last) dealer maintenance. Thanks John Edited February 21, 2017 by Tacoman
golucky66
Should be a disable button or option. I'm pretty sure my gfs 13' Outback mt has a way to turn it off. The dialing back, if possible, would likely need to be done with the OEM scan tool. Either way, I'd just ask the dealer.
