Hey Eric. I was wondering if you would be willing to plan a small trail run in mid April, when I arive to Washington. I would also like to meet some of the fellow Hatch Patrollers. Its been a while since i seen ya all.. and ive never ran a trail with you in my own rig. Im planning on being up there April 14th and staying until April 16th. I kinda need to get plans finalized in order to see if I should spend 1 or 2 days in Oregon, or 2 or 3 days in Washington.

Well... I could probably just blow past Oregon in 2 days, and be up there Saturday night/sunday morning if Sunday is better. That would be Sunday the 13th. Then i can stop in Oregon on the way home.

I just dont want to take a week of vacation, spend a couple days in Washington, only to come home in a clean car :)

Never can tell who could be mustered to join. If you look at my post below about a meet in May, you'll see I only got a reply from you.

There doesn't seem to be much of an interest in a Hatch Patrol any more. I think me and Ken and Caleb and Austin are it. . .

Hey, i dont really care if its just me and you Eric, I just wanna get my car muddy with some of that great Washington mud. We dont get mud in California, just dry dirt and woods.

Then mud you shall find. A little run thru the Hobbit Trail oughta do it.

A weekend would most likely work better for getting others to join. Caleb's got the bug bad.

Yeah I know. I see these posts every so often where someone will hold a small day trip.

How's April 13th sound? I made rough sketches of my trip plans. If we leave Friday the 11th mid-afternoon, we can be in Washington Sunday Morning no problem. Then leave WA probably the 14th or 15th and have enough time to catch up with the portland crew for dinner.

Out of everybody on this entire board, you are the one I want to mud with the most. I will adjust my trip plans, and re-calculate my travel time to make it there Saturday night.

I still have to secure the vacation time. They seem to be taking their time. I can't be doing anything too risky with my car cause it will have to drive all the way back to California, but I do want to go enjoy some of that sweet Washington mud I see on all of Eric's videos.

Hey Brian! I hope we can all hang out when you come up- I would love to go offroading, no matter what car I end up driving (yes, I would even try taking the impreza mudding! ) I still need to do some repairs to the wagon before any serious playing, but by may, the weather should be a lot better (we can all hope <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=" >D"> )

- till then, have lots of fun!

Eric- I think that people are still interested in the hatch patrol, but this winter has been pretty slow with the economy and the stresses of life going on, plus the weather not being the best either... and also the big hype about subarubicon might have some people in "standby" mode, while they are preparing their cars for such a big trip.... but thats just how I see it... so come summer, people might be a lot more excited to go play and be part of this rapidly growing "club"

just give me a ring and I will try to come play whenever- (once school is out this qtr, it should be easier too)

By this summer, I will be out there with you guys too..

Thanks to 3-4 people on the board here, I now have every thing I need to get out in the mud.. just need to get it all installed:rolleyes:

My weekends are full for the next month or so, but after that, it will be full speed ahead on my soob abuse habit:D

Can you make it for the 12th instead? I'm in a softball league, we practice on Sundays in the afternoon. If you can't make it for the Saturday, I'll be up for an early in the day run. They'll probably let me out of a practice, but with 3 months of league ahead, I don't wanna use all my excuses up. ;)

Austin, I hope you're right.

Well, Im putting in for vacation time starting April 11th. Katie (my better half) is comming, and she has a meeting on April 11th that she cannot miss, so we are leaving RIGHT after her meeting (I will the night of the 10th and the morning of the 11th packing, so we can hit the road right after her meeting). I doubt we would be able to make it to Washington on the 12th with any time to spare. Even if we drove all night it would take around 12 hours to get there, and that would make it Saturday afternoon before we arived. Looks like the 13th is the absolute soonest :(

Well Brian - you know my take on your offroading... to those of you who aren't Brian, I'll be tagging along with him on the run as well. Should finally get to meet some of you guys up in Seattle. :) Brian, I should be online tonight if you want to let me in on changes (if any) in plans.

Eric - about the Hatch patrol - I know I'm sure as hell chomping at the bit. And I will be hopefully making some runs with you next next fall/winter. From now until then (is going to take longer because of some surgery/recovery) my brat has been decommisioned and will be converted from pretty street brat with an autospaz to something that can contend offroad. Still have my decal ready to put on when I get there....

Its not a matter of 'if' - but <em>'when'</em>

Later guys

cool. cant wait, now i just need to get the vacation time confirmed.

Erik, i'll definatly be on tonight to chat. Going to have to re-structure the plans and tell the Oregon crew about the plans as well. I was trying to drag Adam NDJ and Andrew (Hondasucks) with me up there... but not sure if they'll be able to tag along.

Eric, thanks a mill. Cant wait to get muddy with the Hatch patrol for the 1st time. Might have to force me to leave WA
