nicksubaru
The carb is the weber 32/36 dgav 33b1, im not the one who did the weber swap. In the front of the carb there is something missing, after some searching i think its the primary idle jet and holder for it. I was able to plug it with a small alin bolt with the same thread. Now it will idle but what will happen if i dont replace the jet that's supposed to be in there? Is there a shop that i can go to in person that carries parts for this? (in California) The local o'reilly's does not have anything for it. I tried to order a new jet and holder online but its not right... naru
IIRC,the jets? and holders come in 2 sizes for the DGV series carbs. Order the other one(s). http://www.dellortoshop.com/contents/en-us/p880_Idle_Jet_Holder_for_Weber_DGV_DGAV_and_DGEV.html Edited September 19, 2017 by naru
nicksubaru
IIRC??? I don't know what that means. So just the holders are 2 different versions ? They use the same jet? Or is there two different versions of the jets as well? I think i ordered the Smaller one so i need the bigger ones
naru
IIRC = if I recall correctly Website above shows 2 different sizes for both idle jets and idle jetholders.
Nickoli
If it's one of two openings on the front (facing the bumper of the car) they are both vacuum ports. I forget exactly, but the left one is connected and the right one can be plugged. try looking through loyale 2.7's weber swap guide and i bet it's there somewhere. the primary idle jet is on the driver's side of the carb, if i remember correctly. i can also check tomorrow. can you take a picture of what's missing?
