StephenA
'95 Legacy with Forrester struts. Besides having the saggy bottom syndrome, I find that every time I load up the back it squats bad. I brought home a small load of energy logs (like prestologs, but without wax in them) and boy howdy, was it chirping on the way home. About 450 pounds load. Is there stiffer springs that will fit? Under $100? While I'd love slimmer coilover, I can't justify a mod that's equal to the worth of the car. I might wind up doing this to my '90 legacy as I need that rig for hauling water for the cabin. Ah... the challenge of living on a mountain! idosubaru
There’s a company that sells like whatever length and spring rate you want and they’re inexpensive. Numbchux posted about them in an EA82 older gen thread a year or two ago. I bought springs from them. They’re very popular and well known but the name is escaping at the moment. If your springs are 20 years old with 300,000 miles you might get away with newer used springs or take offs for cheap.
idosubaru
I think it’s eibach Springs. They’re not much more than $100 a pair and brand new and whatever length and spring rate and diameter you want.
