manureman
I have a 2005 outback, non turbo, 4EAT automatic that the transmission is shot. I have been looking for a salvage yard transmission, with no luck. All of the salvage yards tell me that the 2005 is a unique model year, however, I have read some info that a 2004 - 2007 4 speed autos are pretty much the same, even in the Foresters & Outbacks. Can anyone tell me if this is true, as I have found quite a few 2006 & 2007 transmissions, especially from Foresters. BTW, mine has almost 400K miles on it.
