lmdew
A quick look at car-part.com shows 2005 to 2009 front half shafts should work. They were all Legacy models. Will Forester or Impreza also work? Helping Nick in HI. Thanks, Larry
1 Lucky Texan
pretty sure the narrower track means those cars' axles are too short. good idea when swapping to check the old axle's compressed length with any replacement you are about to use - compare the axles side-by-side, just a double check. lmdew
Yep comparing would be great, but Nick is in HI and I'm in CO. Just wanted to have the largest pool of parts possible when I head to the yard.
1 Lucky Texan
there might also be spline count differences. That might be easier to check in the yard. If you can't find the data online, wonder if a parts store (NAPA, Advanded Auto, etc.) would let you check some axles?
