We've enjoyed driving the coast from Maine to Florida since retirement a few years ago (the new Forester was a retirement gift to ourselves), and are currently mapping out a cross-country road trip for next spring. One suggestion , and don’t tell anybody else , try Nova Scotia after Maine. Take the ferry from Bar Harbor next time. And pardon me if you’re already familiar. Cape Breton is my happy place.
