Ejay
Hello everyone, On my '12 outback (CVT and 2.5i PZEV), I have a blinking BRAKE light and the traction and ABS lights are illuminated. I have searched online and rummaged under the dash for hours trying to find the 6 pin connector to jumper out and read the codes. Can anyone confirm the test connector exists and is under the dash in the driver side for the 2012 MY Outbacks? I know its fabled to be well hidden, Ive cut a number of connectors out of various looms and none of them are the ABS DTC so far.
comatosellama
Subaruoutback.org may have a quicker answer, they all drive the same car as you
Mike104
Go here https://sl-i.net/FORUM/showthread.php?18087-Subaru-Factory-Service-Manuals- and download an FSM for your car, perhaps it may show how to get the codes without the SSM

Could also be a bad wheel sensor Edited November 15, 2019 by Mike104
