Hello from the far South

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am Rafael from Chile.

after many years of search and looking for the Availability-Funds-time sincronicity I was able to buy a 1991 MV (Yes! We got this beauties here until that year). Also got a 1983 SW as a donor car. Now having problems because it happened to be in much better conditions than what I thought when buying it (amazingly runs and drives after 15 years in a backayard near the beach).

My initial plan is to do a Resto-mod with the MV, not a monster just a driveable and safe car to have fun with

some pictures soon.

Welcome Rafavidmess!

I say keep both of you can!!

Which one is the better of the two? I didn’t understand if you were talking about the brumby/MV or the wagon.

Cheers

Bennie

Hello!

The brumpy is the better one. The wagon was bought as a donor.

The raised roof body on your wagon is also very rare (at least in North America).  It looks to be in good condition, probably worth saving if you can.

At least in Chile the “raised roofs” were for better versions like AWD vs Front wheel drive. I remember a version with digital speedmeter it was like a spaceship!!
