Fmxr47 Posted May 4, 2020 Share Posted May 4, 2020 Hi all, I’m Justin. I have an 07 outback that I made my own 4.5” lift . Working on a turbo build for the same car. I developed a rod knock and build up a ej255 shortblock with forged internals and running it NA at the moment with 253 AVLS heads which came in at 54cc so I’m sitting at 8.5:1 compression ratio and should be able to handle some boost. Just got my new turbo as the first part that I’ve started collecting for this build. And turbo exhaust manifold - got over from the back of the engine crossmember or doing a cut and shut on the crossmember with the factory turbo exhaust manifold?
