Wolfy63
Just picked up a 2002 Forester and all was well until I noticed the passenger-side headlight was out. I went to pull the bulb but it's fused with the melted female receptor (see photo). I'm no mechanic but I'd like to take a stab at it. I can hit the local junk yards for the parts but I'd rather go online. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Numbchux
Any parts store will have a repair pigtail for the bulb (Looks like an H4?). Splice that in with some good waterproof butt splices, and it'll be good as new.

forester2002s
An overheated bulb-connector might be caused by a non-standard bulb. Some folks use high-intensity (and therefore high-wattage) bulbs to get better lighting from the headlamps. Worth checking the other side as well.
