It's a discontinued item. Please share any good sources for used Subaru parts Let me know of any workarounds for separating the thermostat housing from the idle air control. Subaru went to a standard thermostat cover and a separate idle air control widget on later models. I'm guessing I could switch to different parts and still get accurate idle air control. Thank you! Step-a-toe Posted October 19, 2021 Share Posted October 19, 2021 I disconnected mine totally, electrically and air wise from intake system. Takes a bit more effort to warm up. I've read a couple of threads of people using Bosch ones to fit early VW Golf models instead. These are still available.
