bjv9999
good day. i am a new member who recently acquired a 99 legacy outback w/ about 85k miles. the check engine light came on and i checked codes and found a cylinder one misfire. after reviewing available information, decided to change plugs and wires. the plugs appearance was ok but two of them were very work with atleast twice the recommended gap. the change seemed to improve how the car is running but the check engine light is still on. how do you clear the codes? (or should it go away in time) any help much appreciated.
