rolling a fender

Recommended Posts

the roll/fold the inner lip to can tire clearance on lowerd cars

it can be done with a fender roller or a wooden baseball bat

as you can see i still need to finish the rears... it was a pain cause the metal was pretty brittle and it started to chunk and crack on me but this should give you an idea of why some people need to roll their fenders

I was just messin with ya on the sawzall bit...

Howerver,

On the Buggy when I hit an exposed metal edge, I used that small drip Irrigation tubing split open to form a molding. This made it so the metal edges are not such a problem.

My dash, all metal side pannels, rear pannel and windshield are all lined with tubing to eliminate any sharp edges...

Here is what I talking about in case anyone cares...

Tubing came from Harbor Freight for $5 on sale.

it only rubs with either a lot of weight in it, or when turning with normal street weight in it. and what about just taking an angle grinder and grinding out the oppossing metal?

and Will how do I flare it?
