i heard all this talk about rwd brumbies. can u get plugs of some sort to fill in the holes on the transaxel and what about the bearings on the front i would like to do this but would still like to convert it back for when 4wd is usefull but wouldnt want to damage the ute in any way e.g rusted bearings. is it road legal is dosnt weaken the ute in any way does it.

You actually just remove one shaft and then ponnd the cvj stub away from the doj and once you have seperate the shaft from the stub play with joint till you get all balls out then remove cage. Insert this stub back into the hub and tighten to 145 ft/pounds. Run your car in 4wd and you will have a rwd subie. Dunno about leagality but in no way does the axles support your suspension system. Have a look at how the doj works and you will see why.
