The dashboard outlet is controlled by the ignition; and the other outlet is in the cargo hold, and is energised all the time. Is your Outback the same? Hondasucks Posted June 3, 2005 Share Posted June 3, 2005 Or take the positive wire (It's the one connected to the center of the back of the lighter) and wire it (With a fuse) either to the battery, or to one of the fuses in the fuse block that's always powered.
