Subi1978 clear your mailbox. I can't PM you.

Subi1978

I saw on the wish list that you need a front bumper. I have it complete. I also have an additional set of bumper ends and brackets if interested.

I have the Subaru hood insignia

I have the 4WD tailgate emblem and BRAT emblem

Why USMB no subyluvr edit posts?

Anyway, adding to the list.

For my car (1979 A67 EA71) I need the alternator bracket for a car WITHOUT dealer-installed A/C.

I'm ripping the A/C system out of mine, I'm not even going to bother.

Anyone want the compressor (ecky)? I dunno if it's any good or not, but it spins okay.

1979 Subaru 4WD, 4spd, gold/brown interior, GL wagon:

- Driver's side rear tail light

- Rear Bumper

- Brown Dash

- Interior plastic cargo covers

These are currenty the main needs, but as I begin to restore, I think there will be more.

I'd like to edit my wish list if possible. Today I found the chrome trim**, locks**, door panels**, armrests**, rain gutters, steering wheel**, pillar trim, grille**, interior seat belts**, gauge cluster w/tach and some other bits all in excellent shape. I also found a brand new bumper (not from the same car).

Edit from moderator:

** denotes change made to your post #14

Didn't see the others in that post.

1977 4WD GL Wagon:

Rear hatch: rust free preferred but as long as there's no major dents, it'll do.

Drivers side seat: Vinyl is perfect but it has a tear in it. Blue if at all possible.

Bumpers front and/or rear: Mine are a tad crunched.

Fenders: Just looking for no rust (yeah right!) otherwise i'll repair mine.

Front lower valance: again, mine's a little crunched but otherwise not bad.

Decent interior carpet: Mine's blue. Any color will do if it's nice.

Dashpad: Mine has cracks running front to back along the defrost vents.

Other than that she runs like a dream.

Ooh, and any body parts (fenders, glass, hood, etc.) for an 85' hatch. That's gonna be my rollover ressurection project

Thanks guys.

Current needs for my 1974 4door DL:

Any Stage I dash from a non-Coupe that's not cracked.

Plastic (metalic sort of finish) trim piece from the rear driver's side pillar.

Rear deck -which is basically a molded piece of masonite/cardboard type stuff that sits behind the rear seat and under the rear glass.

Interior door handle from the driver's door (must be from a 4door) with linkage to door lock.Complete set with key, etc. would be nice but even just the handle alone would help.

How many of these posts are still accurate and up-to-date?

I went though and read all the wish lists, and there may be several items I can help people with... but some posts are 2, 3 years old at this point and I have no clue if the users in question still frequent the board or not...

It's up to the poster to notify a moderator if changes are needed. So far I think one person in all this time has contacted me to make a change.

This thread is nice and trim,or it was. It's kept that way for ease of printing. So please understand if you see one of us clean up and toss posts like this one out. Questions are fine but let's try to keep this post trim and ask questions to the moderators of this forum through PM's. Thanks very much for your understanding.

If you see you can help people out then I'd get to sending PM's and/or emails if I were you. ;)

Hey - New here on the wish list and I'm not in need of much. I have a '79 4XWagon in very good shape, sans the front seat (the only one that matters...right-side). The frame is broken and I have to prop it up by folding down/up the back seat. Color is not an issue - original is brown plaid. A little odd - the mileage is low (135k) but the person who drove it for 25+ years went 250+ pounds. The Japanese designed seat met it's match.

Aside - I had '78 and '79 wagons in the late '80s and they both got 30 plus miles per gal. My current wagon gets around 23. I'm looking into leaning-up the carburetor and replacing the front brakes (including adjusting the e-brake). Any leads or help out there would be appreciated. FYI - spent part of the balmy 60 degree day watching the 20 inches of recent snow melt. Tomorrows forecast...80. Life in the UP. Thanks, Bill
