Depends how often AAA gets pissed at you. In an extreem case you can make the engine junk. there are only so many times an engine can over heat before you warp the heads and destroy seals, bake the oil, clog the radiator, etc etc.

i am probably not rebuilding the engine but i may in the future

Also consider that the coolant is extremely hard on engine internals. If coolant is getting into the oil pan you're chewing up bearings, rings, and CYLINDERS pretty quickly. I'd fix it or park it unless I was just going to part it out later.

it's not getting into the oil pan and it only eats coolant when it well vomits if i keep the resivoir well under the cold position my vomiting problem goes away

i know it's not bright to keep driving it but i do not have a choice
