jeansain Posted November 27, 2005 Share Posted November 27, 2005 Recently, I've been hearing a soft ticking noise from the engine compartment when I accelerate in 3rd gear (manual 96 Impreza). You're probably right because if I accelerate lightly, I don't hear it. However I don't understand why it does that only in 3rd gear.
