subiemech85 Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 Are you at your wit's end and can't make it idle right? Check your throttle cable! If it idles excessively fast, something may not be set right, check for proper tension before you mess with the idle speed screw. If it idles too slow and the idle screw does not help, and no problems found, tighten the cable. If setting the idle speed on fuel injected, the idle switch must be activated, and a connector may need to be connected. use an accurate tachometer, a phototach is preferred, and BDC #1 is a good place to put the mark on the flywheel Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
