zyewdall Posted February 8, 2006 Share Posted February 8, 2006 Try holding the pedal to the foor while cranking it -- somehow this sets the computer to stop giving it fuel. I stalled and flooded my '89GL once (same engine as yours) and couldn't get it to start for half an hour of trying. As soon as I held the pedal all the way to the floor and cranked for about 5-10 seconds it sputtered to life. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[HTi]Johnson Posted February 9, 2006 Share Posted February 9, 2006 Try pulling the coil/fuel pump fuse and crank it for a while...it'll clear the gas out.
