I took her over to the emissions place, and she failed the CO part of the test.100 on the co with a limit of 20. Looking at the papers, it failed at high speed on the dyno...so Its over fueling then. Where to start checking? this car has recently had a tune up, but the timing hasnt been set b/c of no marks. 02 sensor? where oh where to start? Jerry DeMoss Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 Did you check your muffler bearings?That may be the problem.Maybe blowing oil back in through the knueter valve due to rapid expansion. Just kidding.Possible that one of the injectors is sticking a little.Not real familiar with the "T" ea81's.Also the idea of the 02 sensor may be a good place to start.Let me know if you would like some extra help.
