I am thinking of making a 4" kit for someone who has contacted me. They want a 4" kit and they want it cheap. So I was thinking of using some 2x4" square steel tube. If I get the tube in 4mm to 6mm thick could I use the double bolt system? The one that you use 2 bolts in place of one long bolt? Or would you still need 1 long bolt with a reinforcing tube in the middle of the block?

go with the double bolt, simpler to install, cheeper bolts, need no reinforcing tube

Are they going to be doing hardcore 4x4'ing? I bent my 4" blocks and have since gone back to 3" front, 2" rear. that fits 27" tyres fine. When I get bigger tyres I'll cut rather than lift.

I've noticed no real advantage in 4" as opposed to 3"/2"
