RedRum Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 The back passenger side door on my wife's legacy is sticking, squeeking, and resisting opening and closing. If you have it open and swing it to shut it it stops half closed and you need to give it another shove. Should I just WD-40 the hinges? There is also a piece that connects the door to the frame..not a hinge but not sure what it is. Looks like a flat bar with grease on it. It is an 01 legacy sedan. NoahDL88 Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 try white lithium grease should be able to get it at a part store for cheap in a little tube, the problem with wd-40 is that it will just wipe away quickly and you'll be squeaking again in no time.
