brighton98
Our 98 Brighton 2.2 has given great service since we got it 2mo./2K mi. ago(now has 114K). The only problem is a vibration when accellerating, especially from 25-30 and 35-40 mph. It is worse when the car is already moving, rather than from a stop. Putting the FWD fuse makes no change; I also put the Blizzaks on for winter; no shake at highway speeds or coasting, and no worse when cornering. I'm guessing front end or CV's--all thoughts welcomed!
nipper
not cv's. Check the drive shaft universal joints and the center support bearing. Also check the wheel bearings. nipper
porcupine73
Welcome! Yah I'd under that sweet ride and try to shake the drive shaft in all practicable directions. No play should be noted.
