EG33 engine in Legacy MY89-93???

Just wondering... Has anyone ever tried to fit a SVX engine into a Legacy Mk1 body? I'm not sure if the engine bay is big enough to accomodate the longer six cylinder engine.

 

Would be nice though to have a 240 ps normally aspirated engine mated to an AWD 5-speed gearbox...

 

BTW, how much do used SVX engine ECU's go for in the US?

They actually supercharged it as well, but later took it off due to the insane noise it produced.

 

I'm sure this can be done, but IMO there are cheaper routes to go to get the same power.
