Bad experience, need help

Recommended Posts

First, he couldn't find timing marks on the engine. Maybe Subie-specific thing he doesn't know.

Run away. The timing marks are on the flywheel. There should be a little black rubber cap on the bellhousing center top of the engine. Remove it, look in the opening, slowly turn the cranckshaft with a 22mm socket wrench.

Any chance the fuel pressure drop could be caused by not having a gas cap on the car? Noticed that was gone yesterday.

I wouldn't think it would affect the pressure, but would let water in the tank to make the car run like crap! I've been there before....
