Recommended Posts

Scott, just for the record Will and I are coming up after you get off work I might come up a bit earlier since I found an EJ22 up in your area, so I might pick that up and then run over to your place after that. Hope everything goes together nicely. What time will you get to your house at I'll try and meet you at the same time you pull up at your place!!!!!!

what are you doing about blocking the original throttle body? Wouldnt that create a huge vacuum leak?

This entire project is brilliant! SJR DOES IT AGAIN! Cant wait till I move out of smog nazi territory so I can set something like this up. A Carbed powered EJ22 is a dream of mine.

remove it and add a block off plate

Scott, are you considering producing manifolds for weber carbs 32/36 carbs? Or if someone was to sent you their ej22 intake would you prep it so all we'd have to do is bolt a carb on?

I will be offering the adapter so you can modify your own manifold and I will be offering the machine work if you sent me yours, also I will be offering the modified Escort disty. eventually I will offer the whole kit in one : the engine adapter, redrilled flywheel, modified disty with coil and wiring, weber adapter and block off plates the the EJ manifold, so all a guy will need is a old soobie with a dead moter a bare EJ engine and the ",kit" and it will be a all bolt up with no computer hassle ,

Wow. Your the man. Got an estimated time line on this?

I'd like to be one of your first customers shooting for mid april to have the motor installed.

There are no mods. Everything is plug & play. Or should be from the other discussions ive read.

Scott talks about mods to the distributor. I see now that what he's talking about is the grey electronic thing that is usually on the distibutor is rewired so it can now be mounted elswhere. (I can't think of the name right now even though I had to buy one once for a bronco II I used to own ( cost about 60 bucks!).):banghead:
