Great show Jamie. My only complaint about the coverage was that the Rally America website didn't report the regional coverage very well. I kept looking all weekend and posting and never did find anything more than the bare minimum details (maybe I didn't know where to look).

Other than that, how did you manage to get three years out of your OEM gearbox? Gearbox seems to be the weak spot in my rallycross Impreza.

By the way, what caused the 90 minute delay on Sunday?

regional results are hidden on the "old site"

gearbox:

change the oil often

and i try not to jamb the gears.....

eventually though it will break, rally is stressful on the oe gearbox

delay on sunday:

the ROAD + a lost radio contact

"00" car rolled on the course opening run

Co-driver needed stitches but everyone was ok

then radio contact was lost with "finish" so we had to stop the rally for a while

Once the stage opened, about 6-8 of the stage rally cars crashed or rolled.

(including Block, Foust, Lablanc, and more....)

Nasty section or road....

Note that on the 2nd running of this stage at least 4 more rolled/crashed

...that was one tough stage! I dont care to ever see it again.

I did not like it at all....

it's about time we saw you out there.

i do have one question, how did i beat you on like 2 stages?

ok they were short twisty crap and didn't have any parts where POWER would have been nice.

but damn i can't wait to ditch those damn tulip maps. nothing like coming up to a corner and having a poorly drawn arrow telling you how bad it is.

so what's next for you. you making the truck to Wild West? I'm starting to save my pennies now.

any who it was good to see you out there again.

my car was overheating from SS1....

cat. converter broke up in the exhaust choking the system

also had no clutch, slave cyl. went and pedal went to the floor

I was lucky to make it to the finish... trust me.

I will not go to Pomeroy... ever.

NO idea when I will be back out.

Oregon is my favorite event and it was good to see everyone!

But now I have a blown diff, blown tranny and am selling my suspension.....

anyone want some DMS????

Jamie, drop me a pm about the DMS....tell me if it will fit my '97 wagon and convince me I need it; better yet, can I afford it?! Also, I have a spare, used 4.111 open rear diff; if you can use it, I'm sure we can work something out.

because she has the 5 speed her rear end is 3.545 because of the 1.1 center diff gearing.

yes and no will the dms stuff fit. yes the front is a bolt in, no on the rear, the top hats have a different bolt pattern. not sure what she uses for top hats, if it's the stock stuff then you could use your top hats, if it's a DMS top hat you would need to get rear top hats for a 93-01 impreza.

Interesting; I may even have a 3.545 rear diff. I'll need to check my storage area.

man that's a weird one to just have laying around. i think the only other thing it ever came in were the svxs. but not sure about that. she just needs to drop all that weird wrx tranny gearing and find her a 4.11 geared turbo tranny. and shhhhh, no one would ever know.

It is weird. I got it from someone with a WRX and it appears to be a VLSD. I had it checked at PIA to find the ratio and after counting teeth and dividing it came out as 3.545. I couldn't sell it to anyone I knew with a SVX so I still have it.
