TeamCF Posted June 21, 2008 Share Posted June 21, 2008 I'm not real familiar with right around Astoria. I would think there could be some close wheeling. But down further is TSF. Quite a few trails there. Its a little ways up HWY 6 from Tillamook. You can lookup "Browns Camp" to see location and detrmine if it's even an option. I actually live out near Mt. Hood. About 2 hours away from the coast. Only place I've been wheeling out there is down in the Tillamook State Forest. Kinda near Sand Lake. TSF would be our starting caravan enroute to WCSS10..Friday would be the day of choice... I have been scouting out a few routes...in TSF up to Astoria... I'm thinking by CF you mean TSF? Here's a link of my last time out. Some pics in a few of the posts on the first page. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=89969 That kind of terrain is par for the course there. I'm stock with 26" tires and a welded diff. You can make it no problem. And like Scott said, there will be plenty of tow straps around. Now I just hope I'm even gonna make WCSSS10. Just figured out I'm already way over budget for it. And my clutch just toasted. Plus there is a fly in cruise in I want to go to way more badly on saturday. I'm a total aircraft fanatic.
