EJ or EG engine mated to chevy th400?

Recommended Posts

definitely possible.

i know someone put a V8 in an XT....not sure how/what it was mounted to though. i think it *pushed* a little tiny bit!

With enough time and money anything is possible...............

I'm not entirely sure a TH400 is a "wise" choice. In some dyno testing here, a few years back, a "normal" TH400 requires 45HP to turn it. Probably a better choice might be a Powerglide (15HP).

I think that is the one that was in SubieSport, pretty slick setup.

yes it was. they own their own performance shop called PRE. if you would like to call and talk, heres the number, you need to talk to bobby, its actually his car. jen's (his wife) is the sti swapped forester.

Good info... I tried getting a hold of them through the other bbs, and no response. Others had asked for the name of the shop for the adapter publicly, and they never acknowledged it either. I wonder if they want to be the only one using a th400?

Thanks again.
