Red Sedan Build , solid rear axle

Recommended Posts

I've talked to the guy that has the John Deere Brat from WCSS10.

He's doing a Zuki case and cut the tunnel to clear it with the trans in the stock location.

Says the sheetmetal surrounding it will make a nice arm rest. And it's tucked up in with the body. Nothing hanging down. :)

mine is all protected like that too, but I wouldn't think the sheetmetal inside would be tall enough for an armrest? but could be different for a gen1, and if he clocks it or not....

got the taco rear home, need to find a driveline next checked all the ones I have none fit

you'll need to get a Toy rear driveshaft (very strong) and have it made to the corret length, with either a Nissan flange, or an adapter to go from the toy flange to the nissan flange. my front shaft is made with a soob front yoke, and the back has a sammy flange and u-joint.

God! Wonder how that feels when going only 25mph! its got to cause alot of vibration, Kinda sucks you'd need to trailer your rig to the wheeling area insted of driving it there.

But that is a nice soild shaft, no need to worrie on breaking those yokes!

Is this the new Aquafina 8" lift prototype??

This thing is going to look awesome!! Are you going to link it in the rear, or just go with some springs and call it good? Since you have IFS still, i would look into doing a 4 link rear end, the suspension will cost more, but you're articulation will thank you for it.

I like the subaru , I just dont like breaking and bending and no low gears so hope to fix that with this moshine , 4 link would be ideal in the rear I just dont have much room above the diff as I want the gas tank to stay there , water bottles catch the drips from the brake lines

you only really want like 5 or 6 inches of uptravel anyway.so , i bet if the shocks , at a bottomed out position, also triangulated would accomplish being able to keep those tires up in there, but the pumpkin off of the gas tank

you will probably have a hell of a rake......

cheers, brian

There is 3 link as well, and that doesnt require as much room above the diff. But I agree, I didnt think about the gas tank being in the way.

thats why I have a fuel cell now.... :)

How big is your fuel cell?

17 gallon.... it's the skinniest I could get (7" wide, and it's sunk into the bed of the brat 6")

Oh, so you have about 2 extra gallons then stock. Does it use an internal pump? (New to me)
