I'm not sure if anyone remembers me... but I'm back in some form anyway. :) One of these days I'll see if I can dig up a pic to post.

Once upon a time, seems like many years ago, I had an '86 GL-10 4wd Turbowagon. At ~280k/mi I had to let it go. It was still in good shape, but I didn't drive it anymore, and it was a shame to have it just sitting there. I kept the brushguard that SteelyDel made for me, and am currently looking at an '88ish GL 4wd wagon that needs a bit of work. We'll see how that goes.

So, the moral of the story is: I love my Explorer, but its no Subie.

It has been several years if I am not mistaken.. I was still new here when I last saw you on the board. I may know of a Turbo wagon coming up for sale soon but I am not sure whether it's a GL-10 or not. I think so. I can ask the guy at work Monday. It is definately a fixer but it runs pretty good.

Just let me know

I remember you, that was a cool white wagon you had.

We have seen a good number of people coming back looking for a Subaru again. The guy FrankB just came back looking again too.

Reoff, I am the guy making the SteelyDel guards now, out here in Iowa! I went down to his place and got the jig when he quit making them.

Hey, probably not all that interested in another turbo... I mean... MAYBE if the price was right... but not my first choice.

Hey Shawn! Glad to hear about the guards. I never REALLY left Subaru... My girlfriend still had her '93 Legacy and now has an '03 Forester (nice cars, but it's no GL). I'll never give up my Explorer... but I really miss my "old" subie.

Woah, dude, it's been ages! I knew you'd come back, they always come back, Muwahahaha. Exploders are pretty good when maintained right. I was lookin into gettin one as a tow rig. I'll keep an eye round my area, the are tonnes of late 80's wagon constantly for sale round here. What price range ya looking for and how much work you want to do? Catch ya Laters.

I haven't seen you in... like... forever! :) I'm workin on getting an '88ish wagon for $200. It needs some front suspension work, but from what I hear is in good shape otherwise. I'm a bit nervous because it is a Seattle car, but oh well. I can do almost anything with a Subie, so I'm not afraid of the work.

Doing pretty good. I've increased my family to include an 84 Turbo Hardtop, and an 89 3-door. Spent a tour of duty in Egypt, and dropped an Xt-6 motor and 6" lift into the Brat. Things have been pretty good. Catch ya Laters.
