Old skool shine and show at Cave Man Kitchens in kent? a good place to get great BBQ and chili!! this would be just a good meet and greet kinda thing, and maybe some offroading afterwards....? I talked to the manager there, and he said it would be ok if a bunch of us came for an hour or so on a weekend-

offroad or street subarus- new or old....

 

does this sound good? how about a date? next saturday?

I would like to come. The only 4xing I can think of is Kanasket about 12 miles east, and Sumner about 10 miles south.

well, I am wondering if this saturday is too soon, I am free most weekends (as long as I dont need to fix someting on my car )

when would be good for everyone else? and what time of day, I think a lunch time thing would be better for sunshine and time to play afterwards.....

I talked to Eric last night and Saturday is doable. This Saturday will work if you can get a hold of everyone. Lunch is probably a good idea as well.

okay- Eric just called me to remind me... so yeah- its on! when- saturday (the 5th) at about noonish (thats when I plan to drive up) and then we will go play in the mudhole right afterwards

I wil be there with the wagon (the 83, of course ) then I plan to head back up to PAP afterwards cause I got to get an exaust pipe and a pass. front window for the 88...

if you have a stock subaru (4wd) bring it anyways! you can still play in the mud (bring rope or a comealong) but try to bring the modified subarus... 8o

he he he! it was pretty fun... Beth was pretty bored <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\"> though... (she didnt think we were gonna be there that long)

I got stuck once (the pic Eric just posted) thanks Qman for saving me again but thats what happens when your tires are floating over the ruts, and your diff is dragging on teh mud....

 

the puddles were pretty deep, and i guess I should reinstall the drain plugs before trying to forge the mud again... water instantly filled up my interior up to the bottom of the seats!

 

and the food was good!!! (everyone else liked it right?)

 

its time for me to change the wheel bearing now for sure.. the mud did it in... I think I lost my throwout bearing too :x
