  1. thank you for your replies, :) i know the sherpa, here came as a 4x4 version of the rex..

instead of searching in internet, dad is searching for a nice donor car to swap some parts.. he also thinks that he could (maybe) swap engine an trasmission with another brand, i am pretty scared about that.....

i will write back here with the results of the "REX QUEST"

    carmen :-p

Carmen, like Subyluuver2212 said, with the vin number we can find out exactly whast model it is and where it was manufactured. That cross reference will allow you to find out which parts from the Justy or any other Subaru worldwide will match youir Rex!

If you have that info, it will help a lot in the quest for parts.

    :)

That is a cool car!!! I am a fan of small cars. I have been looking for a Subaru Justy, but all the ones I see are not for sale.

    Nice car!!!

I am glad it is in the hands of a Subaru enthusiast!:)

  3. That VW bug is awesome.

An ER27 would be too big for the bug perhaps. In a Baja bug configuration it could end up well, but not an easy fit in regular street bug trim, am I right??

If I can not get a Bratt or a wagon, I might look into finding a cheap engineless car, to fit a Subaru motor.

I lakie Subaru engines and cars so much, I am going around all this stuff like a kid at a candy store!!!:)

  4. i tried getting the muscle look out of mine when i had it. made a roof spoiler by sawzalling off the front of an old high-topper.

I just had withdrawal symptoms when I saw your Bratts, Mine was exactly like the biedge one.

    Oh man!!!!:( :( :(

    Nice cars....!!! Yes!

  5. Nice brat. I had one exactly the same, I was restoring it, nice....but the stupid city of Long Beach took it away because it did not pass the smog test and I did not get the stickers ( untill the test was passed). I was not driving it, waiting to pass the test, but the mean LB police towed it away.:( :(

I felt terrible, I never recovered from that blow.

I am looking for another one. Mine was a 79, and I like it the most. I like the front more than the later ones.

I rebulit myself the Hitachi Carb and it was runing like new, a lot of torque.

Man! I need to get myself a Brat. If you now of any, p[lease let me know. I want a Brat, or a Station Wagon, from the 70's, those are my favorite ones.:)

    Nice truck.
