Carmen, It has been sooo long. You are VERY patient. Iam pretty sure that a engine and transmission from a Subaru VIVIO will fit in your narrow little car. It is a 4 cylinder but it only displaces 660cc. Subaru calls it a EN07 and it comes in either a single overhead cam naturally aspirated or with Dual overhead cams and a Supercharger in the Vivio RXR. POWER or Economy, Your Choice. A similer version of this engine will be used in the Subarus that have the engines in the back,like the Vans and mini pick ups.

I believe the Honda 600 was an air cooled engine where as the Subaru 2 cylinder was water cooled. this should be a pic of what it looks like: And a picture of what the car would look like with Alum. rims: and a nice stock one:
