Hey guys i'm new here, I'v been around a few places trying to find answers. My two question is simple. Do i need forester struts to run forester springs on my 99 legacy. (all my forester stuff is from a 99) I have legacy spec struts and forester springs on my car right now, but i'm getting a lot of rattling and my drivers side strut needs to be replaced again after 3k. (I've replaced the front sway bar it was bent, next on my list is control arm, and yes everything is bolted down, wen't over the bolts with a mechanic and torque wrench) Is there any easy way to tell or measure out, the control arm to tell if the geometry is off?

Ah yes this noise, I'm running new 99 legacy spec front struts and foresters front springs on my 99leg L wagon. I get a hard core clunk/rattling noise. it has only gotten worse. Replaced sway bar, gonna do a control arm soon. If you figure out a cure for this let me know! I'm gonna try forester spec struts soon!
