the outback that i have is a sohc not sure what the 2.5 is havent gone and looked at it yet if they are both sohc will it go smoothly

Im new to the subaru game im looking to put a 2.5 from a 2000 impreza in my 99 outback have the engine and trans from the 2.5 ready to pick up wondering if it is going to be a big job
