  1. just mapquested it...not as far as I thought...only would take twelve hours, my grandma lives in alturas, so that would be a nice stop and rest...Im really excited now...We just might take my wagon up there...not sure yet (never have taken it far distances, barely taken it on freeway :-\ ) If thats out of the question, we'll take my gf's little nissan. we'll see...
  2. so if I go...this will be my first time going...I began talking to my gf about it and how we should both go...Of course her first response was, is there going to be food there? lol Is there? like food vendors? Because of lack of time and school starting right around that time, we might consider air travel...any advice? Could we arrive in seattle and get a ride to it or whats a good idea? thanks in advance:) -Tyler
  3. A caravan I think is a great idea...I'll look more into it. I'm a poor college student with a subaru addiction on the rise...I feel a caravan would be cheaper and way more fun. let me get back to this after this month when the semester is finally over.
  4. thanks everyone for the warm welcome
  5. figured it out =))
  6. Hello all, Tyler here, I finally got my Subaru Wagon. Its an 89 Subaru GL wagon with an ea82 engine...a little slow but I love it! Not sure if I want to swap the engine (advice) 178,000 miles, new water pump, newer clutch, new gaskets, new timing belt and newer brakes. No rips or tears or even minor dents...ok so i lied, theres a little one in the back, no major rust too for 1000$! not sure if it was a good deal or not but I wanted a wagon so bad and had been looking so long. Theres a lot of older subaru's here in Reno due to Lake Tahoe being so close but all the ones I had looked at, werent in very good condition. It needs a new bumper but, eh! Might put a little lift on it for offroading season and what not. It should be a fun wagon. here's a couple pictures of it. My girlfriends dad owns a detail shop so I got engine cleaned, a wax, polish, all of the upholestry was cleaned... ps there is rust on the bottom fenders below the doors. any advice on how to get rid of it? um..how do i post pictures???
