  1. I Looked...no found...88/89 - 87 tranny swap

    armyway posted a topic in Subaru Retrofitting
    So i have an 88/89 subaru DL wagon with a 5 speed on demand 4wd and i have a potential 87 XT auto with fulltime 4wd, ive looked in the forum but havent found a specific thread for the posability of swaping the 5speed from the DL to the XT, is it acheiveable? i ask because the XT has a better body and motor and the DL has a crappy body and motor being that im new to owning a subaru, any and all help will be great , thank you >>PEANUT BUTTER - JELLY, PEANUT BUTTER - JELLY!!
