I've got a 98 Legacy 2.5 GT Automatic 4 wheel drive and It's been giving me some probem can you tell me what might cause my legacy to to make a thump nosie in the rear when I make tight turns.

I have a 98 Legacy wagon 2.5 GT with 106.000 miles, automatic, 4 wheel drive

The problem I have is when I make tight corners, car vibrate in the rear and there is a thump noise. I've taken it to a local mechanic and they cannot find the problem. Do you have any Idea what is causing this.
