thanks for the info Gloyale,you have obviously done an engine and gearbox swap like this before mate!does it improve the brumby performance dramatically.

i have an 88 brumby that i want to put an EJ18 engine and 5 speed dual range box into. the gearbox is out of an L series wagon. what problems can i look forward to as in cv shafts to use,which flywheel and clutch etc

i have an 88 subaru brumby which i would like to put a 5speed box from a l series wagon and a ej18 motor.how many changes are involved mechanicaly.i am an auto electrician not a magician like youblokes any help would be appreciated as in cv joints to use fly wheel clutchplate etc.
