So if I get the harness ECM and intake manifold off the 1.8 engine it will run the 2.2 in my car?

So the old ecu will run the engine just fine if I swap the intake manifold and sensors over?

hey everyone I have just installed a 1997 2.2 Ltr Liberty in my 1994 Impreza and are now having problem. Will the new ECU fit in the old harness although there is a plug on the new engine that the harness has no plug for. will this new engine run without the cam angle sensor and the knock sensor and there are other wires im not where they go. i thought this would be a straight swap. any ideas and tips. i also heard there could be a universal harnes to go between them to make it run, is this true or more rumours
