I'm new on this forum, and I have a quick question. I have a 2001 forester and the automatic trans is going out. If I act quickly I might be able to get a good deal on a newer trans, but I need to know what newer (2004 & up) trans would work. Or would it be easier to get the engine too and swap everything out? I need to get back to the guy real with what would work. thanks, terry
