    hey thanks for the welcome. i have started to see that it wont be cheap to upgrade my subaru, but anything worth it aint cheap right. As far as what engine i have as far as i know it is the stock engine that came in the 97 legacy outback limited which is the 2.5L boxer. i want somthing that will give me a little bit of both worlds

    Hello everyone, Hi I'm new to Subaru as a company, my buddu is a huge fan so when my last car (89 corolla) died i searched for a subaru and landed on my '97 legacy outback. so far this car has blown me away. i am becoming a bigger fan of racing and starting to get into the process of upgrading and aftermarket. i would love any information into the vehicals that anyone is willing to share old stories or advice on repairs, i would love to learn more about the cars and the comunity that surounds them
