    mtsmiths - I went back and read the story. The way they worded it sounded like it was my plane. It was a commercial flight.

    Engine started thumping before takeoff. About 5 minutes after takeoff BANG BANG. The flight attendants ran to the front, then the captain said we would make an emergency landing. The runway looked like a christmas tree with all of the emergency vehicle lights. Next time I'll question any noises I hear BEFORE TAKEOFF.
