  1. Thanks! The fill neck makes sense, as I was generally smelling gas after filling up.
  2. Thanks for the replay! Sorry not to give more detail earlier, wasn't sure if this thread was appropriate. The leak is near the rear passenger tire. Not sure if the missing bolt broke off from rust or if it wasn't replaced once upon a repair. I couldn't really see exactly what was leaking, going to jack car up this afternoon to get a better look.   3. Purchased a 2005 Outback last year and been fixing things mostly myself as they spring up. But, now have a new issue that I'm trying to track down involving a gas leak. Found this forum/community and have come for help.
