That I may be able to help you with...try ERA Replica Automobiles in Connecticut. They are a Cobra kit car builder and used Subaru 77-79 racks at one time. 

I heard they have urethane bushings for racks of those years. 

I need a rack for my Cobra kit car.

Steering rack from a 1977-1979 Subie. I believe they call it type 2.

Is it possible to rebuild my current one
